Privacy policy

This policy explains what data Comunidade Overlander receives through the site's sign-up forms and what it does with it.

Who we are

Comunidade Overlander is a community of overland travelers, by 4x4, van, motorhome or motorcycle.

What data we collect

The data you provide in the sign-up forms: name, email, WhatsApp, city and state, information about your vehicle, how you travel and your interests. For businesses, also the company details, such as name, website, Instagram and type of business.

We also record how you got to the site, such as a campaign link or the page that referred you.

What we use it for

To talk to you about the community and send news about partners, content and meetups. For businesses, to discuss the partnership.

SOS requests

What you share in an SOS request, including your location if you allow it, goes to the moderator's WhatsApp and is kept in the community's private database so the moderators can follow up.

Premium subscription

Premium is sold through Hotmart. Payment and purchase details, such as your card, stay with Hotmart under its own privacy policy. The community never receives your card details. From Hotmart we receive subscribers' contact details, such as name and email, to give access to premium.

To open the premium showcase, you enter the email you used to buy. We check with Hotmart that the subscription is active and send an access code to that email. Access is saved in your browser for 30 days, and the sign-out button removes it.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or pass on your data. It is kept in a private database that only the people running the community can access. The only exchange is with Hotmart, for premium, as explained above.

How long we keep it

For as long as you are part of the community, or until you ask us to delete it.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to see, correct or delete your data, and to stop receiving messages, through the community's contact channels.
